NEWEST AUDIO AND TEXT BLOG ENTRY
    Insights and Instruction from Michael

    HELLO DEAR VIEWER,

    MY NEWEST AUDIO BLOG ENTRY:

Here is the latest recording I have posted for you:

I have posted an audio blog on my Xanga site. It’s a track from my CD "Within" which is entitled, "I Suspect There's Another Reality" which speaks to the idea that there is a whole world of spririt underneath all the noise and the dross (if we will but notice).

    Enjoy....

Here is the link to my audio blog where you will find "I Suspect There's Another Reality":

Here are the lyrics to "I Suspect There's Another Reality":

    I SUSPECT THERE’S ANOTHER REALITY

    Verse:

    I suspect there’s another reality

Shining through all the noise and the banality.

Oh to pause, to look, to look and see

What a gift is that pause to you and me-

Noticing the real beneath the commonplace.

    Bridge:

Going through my day, sometimes there’s no way to see,

No time to stop and peer

Close enough at you and me.

    Chorus:

    We’re millions of atoms,

    But mostly we’re just space.

If I could really see you,

I’d see more than your face,

    Ooh-oo…

    Verse:

    I suspect there’s another reality

Shining through all the noise and the banality.

Oh to pause, to look, to look and see

What a gift is that pause to you and me-

Noticing the real beneath the commonplace,

Noticing what’s there beneath the lines of your face.

What’s underneath our skin is much more akin to grace.

    What’s underneath is real,

    Where love fills ev’ry space.

    MY NEWEST TEXT BLOG ENTRY:

The Indigo Girls' song "Closer to Fine"
    so beautifully expresses
my outlook on life at the moment.
Here are my thoughts on this subject:

This has been my song for about a year now. It captures how I feel perfectly and has brought me much peace!
Here is the link to the video for this song on Youtube:
Here are the lyrics to this wonderful song:
    Indigo Girls
    CLOSER TO FINE

    Words and music Emily Saliers

I'm trying to tell you something bout my life
Maybe give me insight between black and white
And the best thing you've ever done for me
Is to help me take my life less seriously
    It's only life after all

Now darkness has a hunger that's insatiable
And lightness has a call that's hard to hear
I wrap my fear around me like a blanket
I sailed my ship of safety till I sank it
    I'm crawling on your shores

I went to the doctor, I went to the mountains,
I looked to the children, I drank from the fountains
There's more than one answer to these questions pointing me in a crooked line
And the less I seek my source for some definitive
The closer I am to fine
The closer I am to fine

I went to see the doctor of philosophy
With a poster of Rasputin, and a beard down to his knee
He never did marry, or see a b-grade movie
He graded my performance, he said he could see through me
I spent four years prostrate to the higher mind
I got my paper and I was free

I went to the doctor, I went to the mountains,
I looked to the children, I drank from the fountains
There's more than one answer to these questions pointing me in a crooked line
And the less I seek my source for some definitive
The closer I am to fine
The closer I am to fine

    *whistle*

I stopped by the bar at 3 am
To seek solace in a bottle, or possibly a friend
And I woke up with a headache like my head against a board
Twice as cloudy as I'd been the night before
    I went in seeking clarity

I went to the doctor, I went to the mountain, I looked to the children, I drank
    from the fountain
We go to the doctor, we go to the mountains, we look to the children, we drink
    from the fountains
We go to the bible, we go through the workout, we read up on revival, we stand
    up for the lookout
There's more than one answer to these questions pointing me in a crooked line
The less I seek my source for some definitive
The closer I am to fine
The closer I am to fine
